The "2026 Chinese Culture Festival" will be held in Gaborone from July 11 to 12.

The event is organized by the Charity Association of Chinese in Botswana, together with various overseas Chinese groups, with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Botswana. In previous years, the Chinese Culture Festival attracted thousands of attendees and received extensive media coverage. This temple fair will take the previous success to the next level. At that time, traditional Chinese arts and culture, including Chinese food, local snacks, traditional cakes, tea, dragon dance, folk music, martial arts, calligraphy, paper cutting, hanfu experience, a children's panda-themed corner, will be displayed, bringing more joy to overseas Chinese in Botswana and local families.

As one of the core highlights of this event, we will conduct comprehensive publicity and reporting through local mainstream media, social media, and Chinese community media. This will attract more local residents and overseas Chinese to participate and provide value-added services such as brand display and product promotion for settled merchants. About 40 merchandise and food stalls at the Chinese Cultural Festival are now available for rent.
